During the whole charging progress, the charger keeps self-detecting. This charger comes with full short-circuit, over loading, over heating protection. It will stop charging when temperature is over 55 degrees and the light will flash.

Short-circuit protection |
When there is a short-circuited with one charging pot, others not affected. The whole charger can be resumed after the short-circuit fault is eliminated. (Short circuit current is less than 100mA) |
| Over-current protection | Each charging pot has a limited output current to 1500mA. The over-current protection will be effected when there is a exceed limitation. Each pot's problem will not affect others. |
| Over-heating protection | The over-heating protection function will be effected when inserted battery's temperature reached 55ºC and the light flashes quickly in red.
